Mike Forrester was born in Brooklyn New York in December of 1937. He grew up in Long Island City and Levittown, NY. As a member of the US Air Force he was sent to Japan in 1956 where he meet and married Tsuchino Matsuo.

Mr. Forrester is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and The University of California, Berkeley with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He is an accomplished pilot holding a Commercial Pilot’s license for both airplanes and helicopters. He also holds a Flight Instructor License and an Aircraft Powerplant and Airframe Mechanic license.

Mr. Forrester is retired from a long career with the Federal   Aviation Administration, a part of the Department of Transportation. After leaving the Federal Aviation Administration Mike and Tsuchino created a computer software company specializing in medical billing software. They sold their software company and retired in 1999.

Mike and Tsuchino reside in the Seattle area.
